Life doesn’t always happen between 9 and 5. At You’re First Care, after-hours and urgent support isn’t an exception to our service, it’s a core part of what we do.
We primarily support participants during after-hours on weekdays and provide full-day availability on weekends, ensuring people have access to safe, reliable, and respectful support when it’s most needed.
Whether plans change suddenly, regular supports fall through, or a participant needs immediate assistance, our team is set up to respond calmly and professionally.
Our Availability
Weekdays:
After-hours support available evenings and nights from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm
Weekends:
All-day availability Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm
Urgent requests:
Short-notice and time-sensitive support considered wherever safely possible
Availability is always discussed clearly upfront so everyone knows what support can be provided and when.

How we support participants after hours
Our after-hours services are tailored to the participant’s needs and may include:

Transport to and from essential appointments or commitments

In-home support and personal assistance

Welfare check-ins and reassurance

Assistance during unexpected changes or disruptions
Support is delivered with the same care, dignity, and professionalism as daytime services.
